So I’m sitting watching the news one night (something I tend to try to avoid most times as the content is decided by people who want to make us all think a certain way, no media outlet like TV etc is neutral no matter what they say!) And on the news they have multi million dollar planes dropping multi million dollar bombs on families and children who can’t afford a loaf of bread!
This is where the songs on this E.P. come from
- Hey God – Where is he/she? is he/she watching all of this happening? When will he/she decide to step in and stop the evil that is growing on our planet?
- There’s A Flower That Grows – A song about the innocents caught up in these confrontations, the children, lots of whom never grow up…what can we do?
- For Our Children – Again a song for the children caught up in these wars, this time asking the parents what we are leaving for them for the future.
- Is This What We’ve Learned – Wha have we learned? since the Live Aid concerts back in 85? from where I’m standing it looks like nothing…
- Epilogue – Is This The World We Created – A spoken word track, with a synthesiser background, again the message is the same, what is happening to our planet, and why are we putting up with it!
There you go, has anything changed since then…no it looks like it’s getting worse!!
